Online Money Making Attitude
Nowadays, it has become a norm that what ever you read and to whomever you talk they will all sound similar, and their main message will be: ‘in order to achieve something in life you have to set goals and targets, and most importantly you should have a positive attitude’.
Now here’s what my response is to such day dreamers: FORGET IT! In order to make money online, you need to do something more than just sit around gazing at your goal list and taking pride in your good-for-nothing positive attitude. As a matter of fact positive attitude is no-good if it does not earn you money. You need to translate your so called positive attitude into something concrete. You should be positive in doing business, not just generally positive in life. Stuff doesn’t happen just because you’re optimistic. Optimism kicks in only when you work hard and hope for the best. Period.
The reason why I say that, after having an experience of six years in making online money, I have concluded that positive attitude plays least significant role in making money on the internet. People often emphasize too much on setting goals and having a positive attitude, but suppose you set the goal to earn up to 300$ daily, and for 5 months you keep repeating this target in your mind, but unless you take some action in achieving that goal, you won’t even earn a penny.
Until and unless you take the right steps you would not be able to earn money, but taking action does not concern positive attitude instead you need to possess the required skill. A better slogan for you would be, ‘I need to learn how to bring more traffic to my website’. Therefore focus must be on the issue that is more important; skill is far better a tool than oral lip service.
Successful money making does not involve your website design, your product, how many friends you have in your social network, etc, therefore, one should focus on the following:
- You must have the basic knowledge of web page building and HTML, it is essential as your blog platform will build web pages for you. Sure, you have stuff that builds your websites for you these days, but some time or the other, you will eventually want to change something according to your specifications which the page builder can’t do, and then you will need to know how web pages work. Also needed for trouble shooting. I have an article written on Basic HTML Knowledge.
- You should be able to master at least one way of generating traffic for your website, although, it may take hundreds of hours for you to grapple but it will definitely pay off.
- In order to become successful in making money online you must work on daily basis. It is essential to make a schedule and most importantly to follow that schedule. You must give time to your work every day; many people lose the chance to earn well because they work in patches and do not consistently work.
The above skills if acquired by anyone will guarantee success as these are tried and tested. There are many websites on the net that are horribly designed and created but just because they draw a lot of traffic daily, they earn a lot. I don’t think by any means that the developer of that site had created any goal list nor does he possess any so-called positive attitude, but still he is on top just because of traffic generation and the right marketing skills, and knowing where he wants to be, and getting there.
