Why are you not making enough with Adsense?
People today harp on Adsense as the ultimate messiah, the Saviour and the beginning and the end of the internet money making bandwagon. It couldn’t be farther from the truth. Adsense is a great way to make money, but you’re certainly a fool if you think you can easily live off your adsense earnings. It is only the people who have experience and the tools to survive on the internet who make big bucks. You need to be aware of the harsh realities of the internet before you can start making good dough. Articles on the internet will say just about anything to make you open their articles and read them.
There are hundreds of thousands of articles on the Internet whih claim to give you “tips” for earning 5 digit income per month in dollars. These sites are nothing but gimmicks, doing whatyou are trying to do….get more traffic and make more money. Do not be fooled into actually believing it’s so easy. There are people who have spent months and ended up with next to nothing.
Making money through adsense is not difficult, to a limit. If you’re a normal person, who just wants to make enough on the internet to pay their net bills plus a few dollars more, adsense will do the job. But to expect to make ten grand in a month and live the high life? Too far in the horizon my friend. New webmasters should only expect very little from adsense at the start. Bloggers specially, should write for the passion of writing, not to make a quick Dollar. Make a site because you’re interested in the content, but not because you think it’ll be a source of revenue for you. Of course, it can be, but that’s far ahead in the future.
There are a couple of reasons why Adsense can be a pain in the arse.
Firstly, most people are caught in the adsense craze and work their asses off day and night and eventually burn out. It all ends in some vicious head banging and frustration. People become disillusioned and eventually give up trying to make money online.
Another reason is that people are impatient. They are prone to clicking their own ads and coercing friends and relatives to click their ads in exchange for clicking theirs. All for a few extra bucks which Google will snatch from you in the blink of an eye. Google wasn’t born yesterday you see. Google has the latest technology for catching thieves and scamsters out to make a quick buck. They immediately ban any account showing suspicious activity.
In short, only some very few entrepreneurs get to mak the 4-5 digit incomes which you see in some articles after years of hard work. Not everyone can get there, and there is no shame involved in admitting you can’t get there. Lower your expectations, and you might just find adsense doing its job for you.
